Trinity undertook a complete strip out and refurbishment of Richard Johnson Anglican College’s senior library and canteen. The project extended the canteen building to increase the functionality of space and help accommodate their growing community. The works were undertaken in a busy school environment. Our site was in the corner of a central quadrangle that receives heavy traffic from students passing between classes. Trinity worked together with the client to segregate tradesmen and keep the site separate from students and teachers. To do this, we coordinated trade movements so that they did not coincide with class breaks or overlap with students transferring between lessons. With the client's needs always in mind, all dangerous and noisy works were completed outside of school hours to ensure the safe and uninterrupted operation of the school.
