Transgrid

This project saw the repurposing of an old high voltage relay room to create a permanent asset monitoring centre with breakout facilities and an emergency response room. The site was in an electrical substation. The site’s location meant that our project team had to carefully manage deliveries so that workers were not exposed to any risk and to ensure the grid was not compromised. The result achieved a functional contemporary space that operates 24/7 and allows Transgrid to monitor the performance of the electricity network.
