Edmund Rice College

Trinity were engaged to undertake the full refurbishment of the science block for Edmund Rice College in Wollongong. Our site was in the centre of the school and was adjacent to a busy courtyard. We appreciate the challenge of teaching alongside building works, but through years of experience working in live environments, we have developed methods to safeguard your learning space. Trinity fully enclosed the work area and created a segregated pedestrian pathway with temporary fencing to ensure the building works were isolated from students and teachers. Tight program management ensured asbestos removal and concrete saw cutting to the slab was completed during the school holidays. This critical planning protected students from hazardous substances and allowed hydraulic plumbing to be relocated without interrupting classes.
