St. John Bosco College

Giving New life to tired Learning spaces constructed in the 1970’s , Trinity partnered with Fulton Trotter Architects to create modern collaborative learning areas.

Internally Demolishing 8 existing GLA’s made way to provide a new science lab, Drama Room, Music Room and 3 new GLAs. The Drama Room at 118 m2 allowed for a Drama General Learning area along with a Tiered Seated Performance Area.

Lighting and colour were important attributes to the artistic mood of this space. A state of the art Music Learning Area was built to include general Learning areas. A separate Music Lab, and a recording Studio treated with Acoustic Paneling.

A 90m2 Science Lab was fitout with a carpeted general learning area and a commercial Vinyl floored Lab area behind fit out with Science benches and fixed Joinery. Not only did the design layout itself bring interest but the colour scheme and intricate patterned flooring makes this an inspiring space for creative minds.

Achieving this fitout in a live school environment was a challenge well accomplished.
